Communications Ducting 20-110 mm OD

Most communication and fibre optic cables are installed underground. Installation by open trench causes disruption to traffic and inconvenience to the public. Using polyethylene ducting overcomes these negatives as it can be supplied in long lengths making it ideal for installed by no dig directional drilling.

Polyethylene ducting can be coloured outside to identify the network owner and the type of cable installed in the ducting. Communication ducting is generally green outside for telecommunication and grey or red outside for fibre optic cabling.

Available in diameters 20 mm OD of SDR9 through to 110mm OD of SDR17 in loose coils and is ideal for directional drilling applications.

Use of a range of electrofusion fittings make jointing easy and joints watertight.
